So a few days ago I was shopping at Carrefoure again. It's a French international supermarket chain. I go there to buy Western stuff to cook, like spaghetti or grinders. Anyway...I haven't once seen any other person using those environmental bags I bought a couple weeks ago (see earlier) entry. And get this! I get to the cashier and what do you think she does when I hand the bag over to her? Can you guess? I'll give you some time to guess...

Ok, she turns the bag over, under, left and right, kinda confused. Looks at the shelves where tons of the environmental bags once hung - which have all been taken down since I'm willing to bet only one single customer has even bought one (yes, me) - she asks something in Thai to her colleague. I catch this "where is the..." I say in Thai, "I bought it already!" Then she said "Oh!"
What the heck!? I don't even want to shop there anymore cause it just depresses me and fills my head with images of a soon-to-come apocolyptic environmental collapse!
