I can't post my massive XT pictures!

The heavenly nymphs of Angkor Wat temple. Angkor Wat is one of the wonders of the world, and is shown with pride on Cambodia's flag. This one was taken back during that trip I lost my wallet. Alas, I didn't spot it on my second trip either.

Whiskey Laos. Strong stuff!

This was taken after a nice 1 hour boat ride down the Mekong at a village across from some Buddhist caves. My mom chugging down a Beer Laos. Ahh, mother-son bonding =) During the 2 weeks we spent together, I helped her develop some gay-dar, ladyboy-dar; and for some reason almost every meal we sat down to when asked what she wanted to drink, she said "how about beer?"

The airport in Luang Prabang, Laos. This place is smaller than a US bus station!

Hong Kong is getting environment friendly? No way! Featured here is my friend Chris whom I met at CUHK, a fellow exchanger "ABC" from the east coast. We both now feel a whole heck of a lot more comfortable with our identities in HK. I no longer feel like I have to pretend my Cantonese is perfect, or that I'm from the city. I even introduced myself in English to people I met at the salsa clubs, which I wouldn't have dared done in the past.

So I've realized that I've had difficulty posting my pics because I've taken them with my Rebel XT, which makes 'em way too big.

try http://picasaweb.google.com. They are awesome and I post my pictures on there and link. In fact, they'll help you link albums to Blogger and have it look cool! Good luck, fellow blogger. ;)

cool! Thanks! I was thinking that I'd just develop the XT pictures, and use my old cam for blogging and emails...but I'll check it out. I hope you don't mind that I stole your layout template!
