My school's name is called . It's a small private Thai school, these 3. Their names are Peach, Bow, and Gun)

So all of this week we have shortened periods, so that the students can have enough time at the end of the day to practice for "Sports Day." I was so confused when the other teachers were having tons of meetings to discuss it. What's there to discuss? I asked. All you do is send the kids out to the field, and make them play the sports right?

Nope. Many things need to be made by hand and by mind, like bleachers, signs, cheers, songs, and who knows what else I haven't heard about. Even the teachers have meetings to prepare for it!

Tuesdays...I'm beginning to like them. I've made it spelling day for the kids, and it seems to be my most successful lesson plan, which means less headache for me. First, I send the beginners to the back of the room to do word searches with their spelling words. Then I teach the advanced kids their words by a lot of body language and drawing pictures, as well as description. Then beginners and advanced students switch activities, then we play wheel of fortune without the wheel.

Time for lunch!
